Like you, I also trade a custom session time and limit the amount of pairs I trade along with the amount of trades I actually take on any given day, regardless of how enticing any further trading opportunities may seem. My strategy has evolved over time to the point I now trade just three pairs. I look for a maximum of one good opportunity on each of my main two pairs and reserve the third pair (Gold) purely for any good scalping setups I may see throughout the day. It took me a good while to get to this point but, you're right, it is absolutely the way to go if you're looking for consistent profits. The only thing I maybe disagree on is your example of a seventy percent win rate with a two-to-one reward-to-risk. Those sort of opportunities may come along once in a while but they are definitely few and far between. If you have the patience and discipline to wait days and weeks between trades, you could probably find those sort of setups and make decent profits. However, anyone who claims they are getting that kind of win rate with that sort of reward-to-risk on a regular basis is basically chatting nonsense.

Those who are doing trading with propfirms I suggest them to do trade with real Trading accounts only to safegard your funds and diversify your risks!!

Also based on how exchanges work I just don’t believe you can have 60-70% win rate over hundreds of trades and still have a R:R of 2:1…anyone who claims this would be a multi millionaire because the math would mean you would compound so quickly it would be like trading perfection…my view is that over time it would be between 40-55% but now way 60-70% not after hundreds of trades where strong standard deviations swings are smoothed out back to the mean…remember with a handful of trades a strategy which is 40-50% can easily behave like a 70% strategy since wins and losses normally are more cluster bases..so even your example of 10 trades is flawed because you can have 10 trades and lose everyone of them or win everyone of them…50% win rate doesn’t mean every 10 trades will be 5 wins and 5 losses…so the question is when claims Are made over how many trades is someone basing their claims

Do you believe in the law of large numbers or central limit theorem….which means more trades to hit the optimal mean of your strategy….you really over generalise in your video…and seem to believe that each trade is not an independent event. The same way if you trade 5 times in a day and could have 5 losses is the same way you could trade once per day and hit 5 days of losses in a row……what I will give you is that if your day maximum total loss is the same in both scenarios and you push your winning days then overall the once per day will definitely be more profitable since you have more profitable power with each trade taken….if you come from that perspective then I would agree but not the way you explained it….also it depends on people’s emotional make it…I know people who would break down after hitting 4 days of losses with 1 trade per day..but they would be able to cope with 4 losses in a day because it’s just 1 day and most time after 4 losses in a row in a day the second day will turn round with the winners coming..so there are pros and cons either way

Hey jordy, I saw this video and would like to highlight that you've making mistake in FVG/imbalances before entry which you should wait for candle close inside fvg. Only on 4th candle in Fvg it's valid direction, if you entry with body close(4th candle in Fvg) then it has poor chances to go on your predicted direction. Thanks mate for your tutorial. 💪

Loved the video I’m at a point in my trading where I am not focused on the money . Just focusing on showing up daily without expectations. All I need to do now is prove to myself I can trade my the when my edge is there . Prove to myself I can and will show up daily ( except weekends ) . Building that self trust in myself that I will and I do what’s necessary to succeed . Growth is a process ! You don’t just become a butterfly in a day

i did 200+ trades a span of 2 years backtested on strictly 2 pairs then i did it over and over again on multiple broker quotes on the same pairs without referring to each other. Thanks For This jor, I am 4years and Few months into Forex Trading i always find it hard to Back test then I never saw the need took me over 4years and 1Month Before it dawned on me to start backtesting and i am Already seeing so much change by july i will be taken a new prop Account i know this time i wiill pass it and i will come and give you feedback.
